Your trip with Air France Smart Connect

Simplify your experience by choosing Air France Smart Connect, in partnership with Dohop. Thanks to this platform, you can book your next trip by combining an Air France flight with either an SBB train or a Transavia flight to travel with peace of mind and at the best price.

How does it work?

Find your itinerary by entering your departure and destination city on the Air France website. If your trip is not entirely operated by Air France, we suggest you book with Air France Smart Connect, in partnership with Dohop. Your trip includes an Air France flight, a partner-operated segment (Transavia flight or SBB train), and the Dohop connection service to assist you in flight cancelation, delay, or postponement.

You will receive an email confirmation of your Air France Smart Connect booking, including the Dohop connection service. You will also receive a confirmation for each route (Air France, Transavia, SBB).

You can customize your trip's flight segment(s) by choosing a seat, baggage, and meal option directly on the operating airline's website (Air France , Transavia). Use your dedicated booking reference to log in and select your options for each relevant flight.

You must check in separately for each flight on the respective airline's website (Air France orTransavia). We recommend checking in online up to 30 hours before your departure. If online booking is unavailable, you can go to the check-in counter at the airport.

When you travel with baggage in the hold, you must collect them at the baggage carousel when you make your connection. To continue your trip, you must re-check your baggage for the next flight at the check-in counter in the departure hall before going through security. If traveling with hand baggage only, you may proceed directly to the security checkpoint for your connecting flight.

For added peace of mind, the Dohop Connect service is included in all bookings made on the Air France Smart Connect platform. You will benefit from assistance if your flight is canceled, delayed, or postponed.

What are the Dohop Connect service fees?

The Dohop Connect service fees cover the Dohop assistance service in the case of a flight delay or cancelation.  The Dohop Connect service is included in all bookings made on the Air France Smart Connect platform.

What should I do if one of my segment is delayed or canceled?

If your flight or train is delayed or canceled, the Dohop connection service will rebook you to another flight or train. To use this service, contact Dohop Connect as soon as possible at +33 1828 81450 or by email at service@dohop.com.Be sure to have your Dohop booking reference with you, or include it in the subject line of your email.

How can I change my booking?

Contact Dohop to modify your personal information or segments at +33 1828 81450 or service@dohop.com.If you wish to change a seat, baggage, or meal option, you can do so on the website of the operating airline (airfrance.com, transavia.com, sbb.ch/en) by logging in with your booking reference. You must change your options separately for each journey.

Can I enjoy my Flying Blue benefits throughout my trip?

The benefits associated with your Flying Blue status only applies to Air France flights.
